Vikram is the founder and CEO of Canberra-based QuintessenceLabs, or Q-Labs, which uses quantum technology to strengthen cryptographic key management and encryption, an urgent need in this era of increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks.  One of Westpac’s high-potential Businesses of Tomorrow, Q-Labs uses the world’s fastest random-number generator to create the strongest possible encryption keys, and integrates them into advanced key management and encryption capabilities, protecting banks, governments, and other security-aware enterprises around the globe.

Previously, Vikram founded two successful information-technology startups.
